What services does JVAC provide?

JVAC offers lifesaving emergency medical response, CPR and First Aid training, community safety education, welfare checks, and standby support for local events. We’re here to serve and protect the Jewish community with care and professionalism.

Is JVAC a licensed EMS provider?

Yes. JVAC is a 501(c)3 non-profit faith based EMS organization who operates with certified EMTs and Paramedics who meet state requirements. While volunteer-based, we follow professional standards and coordinate with local EMS for seamless medical care.

How can I get involved as a volunteer?

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. Whether you're medically trained or want to help with outreach, events, or logistics, there’s a role for you. Fill out our volunteer form or attend one of our onboarding sessions.

Do you charge for services or training?

No. JVAC is a nonprofit organization. All our services—including emergency response and training sessions—are provided free of charge, thanks to generous community donations and grants.

Can JVAC support my event with medical standby?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a community fair, synagogue gathering, or public event, we can schedule trained responders to be on standby. Just contact us in advance with event details.

How is JVAC funded?
